Paintlounge Opening

Today, York Region Living went to the grand opening of Paintlounge in Markham. What a cool concept.

Meet Samantha and Beverly - two University of Toronto Industrial Engineering graduates, who decided to let their entrepreneurial spirit come alive with this very creative café.

It's a café that specializes in loose leaf teas (which I love), French Press coffee (which I also love) and painting (which I enjoy, but am not good at!). Customers have the option of popping in for a drink or snack, or purchasing a canvas and painting on the spot. All paints and tools are included with the purchase of the canvas.

As a part of their grand opening celebrations, attendees were able to paint a
square and turn this canvas into a work of art.

This is my square! A little shout-out to YRL!

Neat idea, huh? Paintlounge is on Hwy 7 just West of Warden Avenue, across the street from the Markham Theatre. Why not follow them on twitter? www.twitter.com/paintlounge
