Earth Rangers Contest

As a new mom, I'm always on the hunt for some neat, educational activities to do with my daughter. Granted, she's only 1, but the time will come when I'll need to fill her mind - and heart - with worthwhile activities and causes.

Earth Rangers fits that bill. Earth Rangers is the kids’ conservation organization dedicated to educating children and families about biodiversity and inspiring them to become directly involved in protecting animals and their habitats.

Just in time for Earth Month, Earth Rangers is launching their Whales, Trails, and Polar Bear Tales Contest.

Whales, Trails, and Polar Bear Tales, generously supported by The W. Garfield Weston Foundation and in collaboration with the Churchill Northern Studies Centre, offers a chance for four families of four to win a once in a lifetime eco-adventure trip to the Canadian sub-arctic for six days and five nights.

The trip will take place from Thursday, August 15, 2013 to Tuesday, August 20, 2013. Each winning family will experience the beauty and wildlife of the Canadian sub-arctic while spending five days at the Churchill Northern Studies Centre, an active research station on the shores of historic Hudson Bay.

Families will have the opportunity to kayak with beluga whales, tour the old Hudson Bay Company’s Prince of Wales Fort, ride in a giant Tundra Buggy while on a Polar Bear spotting expedition, take in a cultural presentation by a local aboriginal elder and visit the renowned Eskimo Museum and Parks Canada Visitor Centre.

The contest runs until Wednesday, May 1, 2013.

To enter visit www.earthrangers.com, set up a Bring Back the Wild fundraising campaign and then complete the entry form.

Good Luck!
