Gift Guide: Thierry Mugler's Angel EDT and Enchanting Bear

Perfume. Cologne. Fragrance. Scent. It's something so personal, so individual -- but that doesn't mean it won't make a great gift.

I've been wearing Thierry Mugler's Angel for as long as I can remember. In fact, I can remember exactly when I started -- high school. Angel has become my signature scent -- I love the powdery, vanilla fragrance and while I've tried others, I've always gone back to my favourite.

If someone on your list has a fragrance they love (like me), they likely run out at least once a year. This is an easy and guaranteed way to get them something they'll need and use.

Angel recently launched a new, Angel Eau de Toilette. While I still wear their original, Eau de Parfum, the EDT version is spicier, almost citrusy and sassy. Like classic Angel, it's still soft and not overbearing, but has a distinctive note to it as well. EDT is priced at $79.99 for 1.4 oz. It's a great alternative for day time wear and another option when buying a perfume gift -- go with like scents from the same designer.

And if you're shopping for your holiday gifts NOW, well you're in extra luck 'cause 'tis the season for gift packs, bonus gifts and extra stuff!

Angel always has great gift sets and 2013 is no different. This year, Thierry Mugler has come out with a special charity bear -- Angel Enchanting Bear. The bear will be available while supplies last, at Hudson's Bay and $2 from every sale will go directly to the HBC Foundation. Thierry Mugler is also donating teddies to the SickKids Foundation and during the month of December, families at SickKids will be receiving gift bags with Angel Bear inside.

The limited-edition and numbered Angel Enchanting Bear includes a 5ml eau de parfum (refillable). Sold exclusively at The Bay for $25, if you spend $50 or more on anything else in the store.

What an excellent way to give back this holiday season -- and you get a cute bear out of it too!
