Give an Experience: Museum of Illusions #HolidayWishes

If you follow me online, you know that I'm a pretty busy bee, and my family is right there with me. Donny and I have always enjoyed travelling, often taking in events and interesting happenings. Before we were even married we planned an entire 3-week vacation to Australia and filled it with must-see and do activities. We continue to do the same with our kids, and as a result, they are fortunate to have been exposed to so many real-life experiences and teachings.
If you're looking for a memorable gift this year, I suggest giving the gift of an experience. Over the next few weeks I'll be highlighting a few of them, right here in Toronto or the GTA, that I'm certain your family will love.

The first one: The Museum of Illusions.

The Museum of Illusions is a new concept museum that opened in Toronto in November. This is the first location in Canada. Designed to amuse, amaze and stimulate the senses, the Museum of Illusions features more than 80 visual and educational installations. It's totally instagrammable and interesting for kids and adults alike.

All based on science, mathematics and psychology, the 80+ exhibits play tricks with your brain and educate you all at the same time. And with features like the tilted room, the vortex, the infinity room, you will be amazed.

Plus, the museum has set up photo spots so you can capture the right angle and amaze your friends too!

It's important to buy your tickets in advance, as this attraction sells out frequently. It's not a huge museum, but do budget about 1.5 hours to complete all the exhibits.

The Museum of Illusions is open seven days a week, from 10am – 8pm. Adult tickets are $23.50 + HST and children $19.50 + HST and or a Family ticket at $78.50 + HST (two adults & two children up to age 15).
