Keeping the Wonder Alive

Over the holidays, we spent a lot of time in our jammies watching television, reading books, playing, hanging out. And then BOOM -- back to school, back to routine, back to reality.

That is, until our first decently large snowstorm of the year, this past weekend. And I, for one, was pretty pumped about it.

Last month, a Canadian subscription box -- Wonderbox Canada -- sent the girls a free box to play with. Wonderbox is a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, ARTS & Mathematics)- based box with curated projects for kids aged 7-12. And we've been super excited to open it up and discover what was inside.

Like many adult subscription services, you subscribe to the box and Wonderbox sends you a selection of hand-picked items for your child(ren). These are perfect activities to develop your STEAM skills, great for a rainy (or snowy) day, and make excellent gift ideas, too.

Isabelle turns 8 (I know!) next week, and she was super excited to unbox and create the projects inside. Boxes get shipped out on the 15th of every month, so now's the perfect time to get your hands on one for Feb!

In our box, we received Make Your Own Snowglobes, which, coincidentally worked well for our Snow Day, and a Klutz Maker Lab Radio Boombox, which we'll save for another day.

And coming soon to Wonderbox -- once you're done playing with your toys, you can ship them back and Wonderbox will donate them! Seriously, how amazing is this??

Wonderbox has generously gifted me one more box to give away. To win, follow me and @wonderboxcanada and let me know who would receive this WONDERful box!

Good Luck!
