Did You Stop to Smell the Flowers?

How many times has someone told you to stop and smell the (roses)? Or, in my case, the beautiful lavender?

One of the many things I'm grateful for this year is that the pandemic forced us many of us to do just that.

To slow down.
To pace ourselves.
To enjoy nature.
Go for walks.
Sleep in.
Play with our kids.

While I'm eager and excited for us to get back to this "new normal" everyone is talking about, I'm also quite content to continue to pause the pace and breathe.
