Last Minute Gifts They Won't/Can't Return

Want some gift ideas you KNOW people can't return? Well I've got them. Now, it's not that they CAN'T return these gifts, it's that they won't want to. And bonus: many of these options can be purchased right from your home!

For the Meat Lover:

Want a great gift for anyone who eats meat? Well it's got to be truLOCAL. Tru(e) to its name, truLOCAL is an Ontario based meat delivery company. You can get monthly meat deliveries to your home. You select the meat you want -- is it ground beef, pork, chicken, steak, turkey, sausage? Customize your box and then it gets delivered in a refrigerated box. The meat is already frozen, so you pop it back into the freezer and use it as you need it. Best part? All of the meat is 100% local, free run, no added hormones and antibiotic free. We received a truLOCAL box a couple of months ago and it is a saviour in terms of convenience. If we forget/run out of time to go grocery shopping, we can turn to our frozen meats for a wonderful selection. And you know you're getting quality products, and local at that. Prices vary depending on the meat you choose, but this is a great option for just about anyone on your list.

For the Beaty Lover:

I've been visiting Freedom Medi-Spa for about a year now, lasering some hair away. But Freedom Medi-Spa does a whole lot more than laser. Facials, microdermabrasion, SculptSure, electrolysis, and so much more. (They can explain them all!) Instead of buying a "day at the spa", why not purchase a Freedom Medi-Spa gift card to use on any product or service in the spa? Freedom Medi-Spa is open right through until Saturday, Dec 23, and while you do need to go in person to pick up the card, you don't have to venture to the mall, so that's easy.

For the Toronto Lover:

The MYTORONTO 2018 calendar is a great gift for the Toronto lover who wants to give back. What started as a photography contest has developed into a tangible calendar people can purchase online for $20. The MYTORONTO initiative provides individuals who have experience with being homeless an opportunity to show the world what matters to them, and change their narrative through the art of photography. Once purchased, the calendars will be available for pick up at Ve’ahavta’s offices on 200 Bridgeland Avenue,  Unit D in Toronto or they can be sent out.

For the Kids Who Have TOO MANY TOYS:

This year, my kids are getting a trip to Glama Gal Tween Spa for Christmas. Experiential gifts are so valuable -- they create memories to last a lifetime. From experience, I know our kids get way too many gifts at Christmas time. Glama Gal Tween Spa (with 9 locations in Ontario) has holiday packages for kids of all ages. You can gift these before or after the holidays and they actually make a great activity during the School Break (cause you know they'll be bored within 2 hours of being home)! They also have Glam Jam Drop Off Nights and a New Year's Eve Party (in the late afternoon).

Every time we visit GG, Isabelle is asking when we can go back -- before we get to the car. Madeline has never been, so this holiday will be our first visit together. I'm opting for the Sugar Plum Fairy Package, cause nothing says the holidays like The Nutcracker and the Dance of the Sugar Plums!

My wonderful friends at Glama Gals have give me a Sugar Plum Fairy Package to give away. To enter, fill out the Rafflecopter below. Good luck! If you win, you'll be able to print out a voucher just in time for Christmas!
