Back to Routine with Summer Fresh Snack 'N Go

by - Tuesday, August 28, 2018

As sad as I am to see summer go, I'm honestly excited to get back on a more consistent routine and schedule. This summer has been a lot of fun, but I've totally slacked in the healthy eating and nutrition department; I mean, ice cream is a staple summer food, is it not!?

When it comes to healthy snacking, like any busy person/mom/entrepreneur, I need grab and go meals and snacks that I can eat anywhere, anytime. And they need to taste good, or else I'm not going to eat them.

I really love the Summer Fresh Snack 'n Go products to help me get back on track and stick to a healthier routine. In addition to their classic hummus and crackers, which you can get in a few different flavours, they also have a line up of pre-portioned salads that are perfect for throwing into your lunch bag. The salads have ingredients like quinoa and bulger, mixed beans; these are snacks that are going to keep you fuller longer and keep your energy levels consistent (not like a quick sugar rush!).

The salads actually have a built-in fork in the lid, which means you can literally take these anywhere. You don't even have to bring a utensil. On the subway? In a meeting? Sitting outside a dance class? There's really no excuse to missing a meal.

These Snack 'n Go products are also really great for kids lunches, 'cause you know it's that time of year again. My girls really like the hummus and crackers and they fit easily into a lunch box and are school safe to boot. If you wanted more reasons to like these products, the company is Canadian and the products are locally made; and with no added preservatives, you know you're getting a fresh product. You can find Summer Fresh Snack 'n Go products in the refrigerator section of your grocery stores.

Enjoy these last few weeks of warmth and sunshine, and if you're lucky enough to make it to the beach, try these products out for yourself. They work great there, too.
